Chess Board with O'Gowna Limestone Pieces in Presentation Box

Inspired by our natural landscape the Native Collection Chessboard has been lovingly hand-manufactured using home-grown, hardwood flaming beech. Adorned with artwork inspired by the Book of Kells, this special piece is also made in our workshop just outside the heritage town of Kells, Co. Meath. The natural beauty of the Irish wood is reflected in the unique grain and naturally intact bark edges of the board. We have teamed up with O'Gowna Crafts hailing from Naul in Co. Dublin who produce the chess pieces. The pieces are made from Irish limestone and replicate the Lewis Chess Set, which is on display in the British Museum in London The board and pieces are presented in an oak presentation box.
